Working with Vinyl
Saturday 23rd March, 10-2pm, cost £55
Why not give this new workshop a try, along with Maria you will be able to give different kinds of vinyl a try to make a selection of small items that would make great gifts. A range of Vinyls , zips and all kinds of hardware to complete these lovely items will be provided at a small extra cost.

Pattern drafting stage 1 - The basic skirt block
Sunday 21st April 10am - 2pm, cost £68.50.
This workshop can be for anyone who wishes to learn to make a basic pattern block for a skirt - get that prefect fit. During the day we will construct the basic skirt block from your own body measurements. We will then look at making a toile from the block in calico and revisit the block if necessary to check measurements. It time allows we will complete the day by discussing how this block can be altered into different styles.

Mini iron carrying case
Saturday 27th April , 1- 5.30pm, cost £60
Do you come to patchwork class or maybe a regular session where you wish to have your mini iron to hand for pressing those small seams or part of a project. This workshop could give you the answer on how to bring your iron along to class. A lovely project which will see you not only make a fully insulated/heat proof holdall for the iron but this then opens out to become a small pressing mat to use in class . During the session we will look at creating the shape required, quilting together the layers and binding to complete the project.

Zipped topped Tote bag
Sunday 12th May, 10-4pm, cost £68.50
Another lovely workshop to be lead by Maria, here you will have
the opportunity to make a lovely Tote bag, fully lined with a zip
closure at the top .
This workshop is open to all skill levels , though you will be sent
instruction for cutting out before the workshop and must be
confident with getting prepared. Help and guidance regards this
can be given and all info will be sent out on enrolment.

A trio of pouches
Saturday 22nd June, 1-5.pm, cost £55
Join in the fun and learn how to make one of these lovely handy
pouches for everyday use. Included in the workshop is a small
amount of patchwork, some quilting ,zip insertion and learning to
sew a washable fabric as the lining, leaving the finished item to
be used as a cosmetic or wash bag. These would make a lovely
gift for friends and family alike

Transfer Painting
A fun art class for all abilities , seriously no art skills needed
Sunday 30th June, 10-2pm, cost £55
Enjoy a day of going back to play school art class. Get creative using items to stamp / paint with. Transferring the art work onto Fabric. You will come away with images transferred onto fabric to incorporate into your sewing projects at home. A suggestion list will be provided to assist your inspiration to collect items together for the class. Paints and paper will be provided in the class.
