Payments and cancellation policy 2023
Applicable to all regular class courses/workshops bookings .
1. Provisional bookings will be held for 5 days from the offer via email.
2. Deposit payment - Deposit as stated per workshop/class/course should be paid along with your enrolment form within the five days from the offer. This will secure your place on a course, workshop or regular class.
3. Balance payment – This should be paid by the due date stated on the enrolment form by bank transfer - details on the enrolment form
4. A total payment – this will be required should enrolment take place between the final payment date and the start of the course/workshop and will need to be made with a completed enrolment form.
All bookings will be confirmed within 24hours following receipt of such.
Cancellation
Due to limited places on all courses and workshops, should you require to cancel for any place booked, the following arrangements apply.
1. If a place is cancelled more than 3 weeks prior to course /workshop start date your deposit will be refunded plus any balance paid or we can try to rework
2. Cancellation between 3 and 2 weeks prior to the course any balance will be refunded minus the deposit which will be at this stage become none refundable. At the two week point the balance would have been due and therefore the loss is as directed below in para 3.
3. If payment has been made in full and the place held is cancelled -Between 14 to 7 days prior to the course/workshop there will be a loss of 25% of the full course price (providing this is not less than the deposit)
Between 7 to 1day prior to course/workshop will result in a loss of 50% of the full course price should I be able to re-allocate you place,
Should this not be possible then your payment in full will be non refundable.
All payments which should have been made in full prior to the start of the course, will not be refundable once the course has started should the place not be taken up or you withdraw from the course

Credits
Any refund or part refund credited for classes missed due to sickness or family issues which has been decided at my discretion must be used within one month from the cancelled class
Classes cancelled by myself
Should there be an occasion where a class is cancelled either due to illness on my part or adverse weather , this class will be rearrange to suit the majority
By paying a deposit, shows you accept the terms & conditions as set out above.

Applicable to Saturday & Tuesday clubs and Patchwork sessions
1. Invites for the above will be sent out only to those who have signed up on the forms provided, lists held on the notice board
2. All places required must be confirmed by the date given in the reminders sent out, after such date if you have not confirmed but wish to attend please contact me first to check if there still is space and do not pay until you have checked
3. Please send a confirmation email ( how ever short) DO NOT just send a payment, I may miss this when viewing the banking
4. Unable to attend , please inform me ASAP so that I may pass on the place to any on S/B. Knowing who is attending also helps me to consider the use of the rooms
5. Deposits -At point of confirmation a deposit of £10 should be paid ( the whole amount can be paid at this point should you so wish). Tuesday club , whole amount due - no deposit .
6. Remaining balances for a session must be paid and reach me by the latest 48hrs before you attend
7. Cancellation due to sickness or family crisis . These will be looked at individually and where possible I will pass part credit to another session which must be used within two months.
8. Cancellation by choice up to 72hrs prior to the day , not including the day for the session, will receive a refund of the balance minus the deposit which is non refundable. After 72 hrs , no refund will be given.

Children's sewing classes
Payment and cancellation policy - September 2023
This policy updates all previous T & C's polices
Booking and confirming places- Sunday classes
1. On the notice board at the sewing rooms there is a full list of the groups plus dates for the coming months and you should sign your child up for the months showing which you wish them to attend.
2. All children will stay with the group to which they have been allocated.
3. For each session you will be sent a reminder, this will be sent out to only those that have signed up on the list.
4. The reminder will be sent out 10days before each session.
5. The reminder will contain a date by which you should confirm that child will or will not be attending.
6. At the point which you confirm your child will be attending, payment for the session should be made in full.
7. No payments should on any occasion reach me later than the end of the working day Friday before the stated session.
8. No child should be sent to attend class if payment has not been paid.
After school classes
1. A term reminder for the next block of classes will be sent out before the final class of any previous half term.
2. In the reminder you will be given all information for the new block of classes plus a date by which to confirm that your child will be attending.
3. Please confirm by this date given that you wish your child to continue attending , there after I will be expecting the payment due by the dates stated.
4. The reminder will also give you the date when deposit and balance are due. NOTE: if paying in full this must be made by the deposit date, not the balance date.
5. If you miss the dates given , please contact me first to check there is still a place for your child before sending over any monies.
6. If payments are late , a £5 late payment will be added to the total.
7. No child should be sent to attend class if payment has not been paid.
Information that applies to both Sunday and week day classes
1. All children should arrive with their project to work on unless this is held at the sewing rooms.
2. New projects should be discussed with me before any decision is made regards getting the pattern or fabric.
3. Each child should also be arrive for class with a full kit of notions ( a list of such will have been given at the point of enrolment) that they will require to use while working on their projects. I do continue to hold a small range of items that you can purchase direct from myself
Cancellation
