This class covers all aspects of dressmaking and garment construction using commercial patterns. Even with little or no sewing experience I will help you to create a garment from scratch. During class all the key techniques are covered to include cutting out, simple darts, good seams, and zip insertions. Past attendees will be welcome if wishing to continue with a new project

A mixed ability group where beginners are welcome.
The class can take you through the key basic techniques in order for you to make your first garment, including pattern choosing, fabric cutting, darts, seam, zip insertion and hems, or you may feel confident in some of these areas and just wish to brush up on your skills, therefore whether a beginner or have some sewing skills this could be just the day time class for you.
