New to sewing, got the machine but not sure what it can do or how to every part works, then this may be just the workshop that can help.
During the session we will be looking at all the key parts of a machine, threading up, different stitches, understanding tension, stitch length and so much more all aimed at getting you started with your sewing .

New to sewing, then this could be the workshop for you. While creating a lovely lined shopping bag you will be shown key basics to get you started with a project from how to cut out your pattern , create good seams, top stitching, finishing with a beautiful bag to take home.

Create an embroidery sampler
Monday 2nd Nov, 1-4pm, cost £45
Wish to take on a new sewing skill, then why not try this new workshop. During the session you will be able to try your hand at learning key embroidery stitches, working these on a sampler for reference and considering how you may apply these to any garment or home item

Make a jersey dress
Sunday 15th November , 10-4pm , cost £70
Make this super dress ideal for the winter months from a soft jersey. Learn how best to cut jersey/stretch fabric, what stitches and needles to use on the sewing machine for such a project plus adding the neck band. You will use pattern Simplicity K8548 , instruction on fabric requirements will be given on enrolment
